NaNoWriMo!!

Yup, yup!! I'm not as fully prepared as some of the other authors I know because I found out at a later time, but I'm still going for it. Besides, I'm hoping I can use this to get A Primrose's Beauty done. Even if I don't it'll still be a great experience, and I'll be better prepared for next year!

Catching up on things

Well for the first time in awhile, I actually have the majority of work off from work. This is pretty fantastic- maybe I'll finally get a lot of online stuff done. I haven't been on much, and I feel really bad about it.

To make up for it, I put up some stuff on my deviantArt and wrote a poem to share on my page:D Now...It's time for me to finish a book by the end of this month!

College Fair

So today our senior class went to this college fair thing. It was pretty pointless, because none of the representatives helped me at all. However, I went to this one booth where this guy was at. He asked me about my major, which is obviously creative writing. When he asked me about school experience and school newspapers I told him that we didn't have that. It's the truth, our school is very small, so we don't have that sort of thing. However, the man was awfully rude to me, giving me such a stupid look! Then for several seconds he just stared at me!

I mean, just because I don't write for a school paper doesn't mean I don't have experience! For crying out loud, I'm a freaking author!!! Stupid, stupid man...

Short Story is finshed!!

I Love Books (Dawn) asked me to write a short story for her Halloween Bash on her blog. Everything is supposed to 'ghost-like' and scary. I did the scary part, after all, I love horror! However, I just didn't do the ghost theme. I find that rather unoriginal; that's why I chose the topic: Succubus.

It's scary, and different...So I figure it's a win-win:D Hopefully the others like it though...

Slacking

Wow, I haven't wrote on here in forever:( Shame, shame on me...

Well right now school has taken up a lot of my time. It's my last year of high school and I'm trying to make sure I pass. It's pretty important you know:P The writing has continued, although some of it isn't for my book. I'm trying to win a contest-a 500 word short story. Now I don't do short stories, so this is kinda hard for me. I ended up with nearly 500 extra words. A couple of my friends are helping me chop it down by Friday-the due date.

I also got asked to write a short story for a blog. It's good exposure, I just need to come up with something decent. I could just retype some of my old stories, but I don't really feel like sharing those...Not until I'm trying to publish them...

While I'm rambling, that reminds me I need to work on A Primrose's Beauty and try to get that self-published by the time I turn 18. Also, I like to draw, so I have a couple art projects going on as well...

First Comp. Grade

Okay, so when it comes to school I am def an over-achiever for sure!! (except for math XD lols) I'm the type of person who gets mad when I get a 98% and not 100%.

Today I got my first comp grade. This is the first pure writing class I've ever taken. Even though I've written a bunch of books...I really don't have that much of a writing background. My grade wasn't as good as I would of liked it to have been...Guess I just have to try better:\

Then again, everything takes practice, right? That's all I have to do!

Back again

Wow, I haven't been on my blog in foreverrrrrrr!!

School has started and for some reason I have like triple my normal hours at work. So my internet-book stuff hasn't really been happening. The writing still continues, but it's obviously less. This year has been really hard for me (school-year) and I'm trying to focus on that more.

Luckily this week I have less hours, so I'm going to go the library to get some books, and definitely finish two chapters or more.
