Scam Artists

Today I thought that I finally caught a break; a publisher was wanting some short stories to put in one giant book for Halloween. I was going to enter, but one of my friends warned me. It was a scam, and they just wanted money...

It's sad how you have to watch out for things like that now. Oh well, I learned that I need to be a lot more careful. I should just take my time, and not rush on the published thing:\

Poetry

I've heard that one of the best ways to become a better reader and writer is by reading more poetry... But that is something that takes a lot of practice!! I am not good at it at all! Plus I'm a fast reader too, so I like to go over the lines quickly, but if I do than none of it gets into my head.

It's going to take awhile... I'm hoping that I'll be decent at it by the end of the summer!!

Section 3 complete

Yup, I finished the third section of my novel!! Only two left then I'm done! If I finish this series this series it will be a major accomplishment for me; this series is what made me think about publishing and being an author.

I'll kinda be sad when it's all done:(

That empty smile

Pointless
Meaningless effort

Well what do ya' know...I actually did it!!! I achieved my eight page goal!!!!!! :D That was the one thing i really wanted to accomplish this summer, and I did it! I'm so happy!

But know I need a new goal, or I'll never get a single thing done....

First Week

Aww heck, It's been officially a week tomorrow since school has gotten out...And what have I gotten done? I'll tell you...

NOTHING!!!!

God, I hate the stupid summer. Too much freedom...

Maybe if I didn't blog and what not, I'd have more done...But I love the internet. Looks like this awful trend will continue for 3 months -__-
